Australian crime drama Rush has found itself a new streaming home in the UK.

The show, which began in 2008, focuses on a Police Tactical Response team as they deal with a range of incidents in Melbourne.

Fans of Home and Away and The Traitors AU will recognise Rodger Corser as Lawson Blake, one of the lead characters. Callan Mulvey, who went on to the star in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Batman v Superman, plays other lead Brendan Joshua.

The show was recently added to Amazon's Prime Video subscription service, but there's a caveat or two.

Seasons 1 and 2 are listed as a separate entity to season 3, while season 4 currently isn't available on the service at all. Still, there's 57 episodes of Aussie cop action to enjoy.

On IMDB, the show has an average score of 7.5 from over 2,000 user ratings.

One particularly enthusiastic fan called it "one of the best Aussie shows I've seen", writing in their review that: "It has so many things you just wouldn't expect from an Aussie show, and it's on so many more levels. The technical skills and creativity are much better than most other shows on the same budget."

"The characters are believable and real. And yeah, some ideas might not be the most original out there, but they don't feel fake while watching," read another review, while a third fan wrote: "Instead of overloading the viewers with meaningless action, Rush prefers to spend a lot more time on its characters, adding depth to each one of them every episode."

Another review called it "entertaining" but did note that viewers should "suspend [their] disbelief" when watching.

Rush seasons 1-3 can be streamed on Prime Video now.
