How to Get Away with Murder, one of the best and most twist-filled murder mystery thrillers of all time, is now streaming for free in the UK on Channel 4.
The series, which was produced by Shonda Rhimes (whose other TV big-hitters include Grey's Anatomy and, more recently, Netflix's Bridgerton), first premiered on ABC in the US back in 2014, and it ran for six seasons.
It stars Viola Davis in the leading role of Annalise Keating, who is also often regarded as one of the best TV characters ever. A defence attorney and university law professor, Keating finds herself – along with five of her students – involved in a complex murder plot. And the plot only continues to thicken as How to Get Away with Murder unfolds, with the drama becoming renowned for its unpredictable and gripping plot twists.
Davis' performance in the show became multi-award winning, and HTGAWM also saw her make history as the first Black woman to win a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.

The rest of the ensemble cast includes Alfred Enoch, Aja Naomi King, Karla Souza, Jack Falahee, Matt McGorry, Charlie Weber and Liza Weil (probably best known for her breakout role as Paris Geller in Gilmore Girls).

Fans will already know that, as part of a special TV event, HTGAWM had a crossover with another popular (and brilliant) Shondaland show, Scandal – with Davis' Annalise Keating and Kerry Washington's Olivia Pope coming face to face.
Whether you're looking to re-live it all again, or you want to binge-watch it all for the first time, it's great news that all seasons are streaming on Channel 4 right now.
