The best LEGO Disney sets to buy in 2026

The live-action Moana is released this summer - 10 July to be exact - and there's a couple of LEGO launches to mark the occasion. The terrifying (yet equally adorable) Karakora characters get reimagined as plant pots for an eye-catching room display that'll amuse adults as much as the 9+ market it's aimed at.

Never mind just a tower, LEGO has gone all-out and released its first homage to Rapunzel's castle, complete with minifigures and details from the 2010 film. The whole build includes 'floating' lanterns reminiscent of helping to guide the Princess home, along with Rapunzel's bedroom, throne room and art room, too. To complete the happy ever after, the minifigures include Rapunzel's beloved Queen Arianna and King Frederic.

The set is available on The Lego Store right now, but you can also buy it on Amazon with a small discount.

Last year’s live-action Lilo & Stitch film saw Stitch get his very own LEGO set (we’re not missing out Angel, either), and this year he makes a return in a grass skirt, holding a guitar and bringing along a mate in the form of Lilo’s beloved Scrump.

After the success of the 2,916-piece edition, it was only a matter of time before a version for younger fans was released.

At 254 pieces, it's manageable for younger fans and still features the minifigures that bring the castle to life, including Lumière and Cogsworth alongside Belle and the Beast.

LEGO's second wave of Bluey sets has been unveiled and it includes this series of collectible figures that we think even grown-ups will want to get involved with.

Pua joins Hei Hei in getting his own big build after years of being a minifigure in other sets, just in time for the live-action release of Moana.

With a similar stature to Stitch and Angel, the 885-piece Pua sits atop a raft with a plant and crab. You can pre-order Pua through The Lego Store.

He made his debut back in Toy Story 3 and now Lotso has his time to shine with his very own model. Sure, it’s not as cuddly as the real thing, but standing at 16cm high when fully assembled, Lotso makes his own impact in any room. LEGO Lotso can stand up, sit down and has other expressions, including movable eyebrows and a tiltable face. Look out for some awesome Easter eggs hidden in his back, too…

As useful as it is eye-catching, one of Toy Story’s most beloved original characters has been re-imagined as a pair of LEGO bookends, with the ‘slinky’ section acting as a grip for the make believe books (just don’t try to fling this down your stairs, you’ll only end up with your LEGO pieces scattered everywhere!).

At 1,311 pieces it’s a sturdy challenge that you’ll want to proudly display beyond the movie’s release.

With the release of Toy Story 5 on the horizon, get set for a big nostalgia hit in LEGO form. The latest licensed launch from the retailer is aimed at builders aged 9+ (with a brilliant 18+ build too, see below) and includes the adorable Alien, set on his own Pizza Planet rocket ride (and yes, you can move it up and down thanks to a turning crank within the mechanism). We first reported on this Disney collaboration two years ago and its popularity means stock is limited. We can see why. At 2,229 pieces, it's a mammoth build. Along with the cottage is a wishing well and glass coffin to recreate iconic scenes from the classic film, no Disney build would be complete without minifigures, and this one has 10 of them, including Snow White, all seven Dwarfs, the Evil Queen in disguise and the Prince.

It feels appropriate that LEGO has released something Frozen-themed in the middle of our winter.
