Pretty Little Liars nation, rise up: the stars of the iconic 2010s teen series may be returning for one last hurrah — on one condition.
Premiered in 2010, the series hinged around the disappearance of Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse) and how her group of friends were brought back together to find out what happened to her.
Enter Aria Montgomery (Lucy Hale), Hanna Marin (Ashley Benson), Emily Fields (Shay Mitchell) and Spencer Hastings (Troian Bellisario), Alison's four estranged pals who start receiving anonymous threats from 'A'.
Eight years since the series bowed out after resorting to all the jaw-dropping, ridiculous tricks in the book, Pretty Little Liars could return.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter on the 15th anniversary of the first season, creator Marlene King said they'd all be open to return to Rosewood on the big screen.

"We always kick it around. I like the idea of maybe doing a movie or limited 10 episodes back in Rosewood," King said.
"I'd have to come up with a good idea to bring everybody back and where we would go for it. But I think the cast would love to."
She continued: "We do talk about how it feels like maybe it's time to start talking about that. It's been enough time that we could come up with more life-lived experiences for those characters and that would make it similar but different."
Bellisario agreed that a reunion would work better as a movie, saying: "It would need to be a film because I don't think it could sustain another season."
"But definitely, it would be really cool to see what's going on with these characters. We love them so much. They were in our lives for seven years, and now they've been out of our lives for seven years. So it's the perfect time to see where they are."
Tyler Blackburn, who played Caleb Rivers, also suggested a film could make the continuation of the story less PG-13.
"I always thought also that the show could be really badass if it was not on a family network," he said.
"If it was a film that was at least PG-13, we could make it a little bit more intense and gory or gruesome or sexy."

While Benson joked she'd return if Hanna can be 'A' this time around, Mitchell was adamant the entire group should return for a sequel.
"[...] There could be something where we all get back together and do something fun, like Sex and the City did," she said.
"I think that could be cute if we were to all agree to do it. I would always be down for that. They know that. It would have to be a whole group situation. I can't do it without my girls."
The series originally aired for seven seasons between 2010 and 2017. It spawned a franchise with two short-live spin-offs, Ravenswood and Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists.
A spin-off series also titled Pretty Little Liars but featuring a different set of characters premiered in 2022 and was cancelled after two seasons.
Pretty Little Liars seasons 1-7 are available on BBC iPlayer in the UK. In the US, the series streams on Hulu and Max.
