The Tourist star Shalom Brune-Franklin can be seen in a new look at The Assassin, the upcoming crime thriller starring Keeley Hawes.
The Prime Video series sees Hawes portray Julie, a retired assassin living in Greece. After reuniting with her estranged son Edward (Freddie Highmore), who enquiries about his father, Julie's past rears its ugly head.
Ahead of its release next month, Prime Video has unveiled more images from the six-part series, with Brune-Franklin – who starred in the first season of The Tourist – being pictured in an elegant blue dress.
The aforementioned trio are joined in the cast by Gina Gershon, Jack Davenport, Alan Dale and David Dencik, though all their roles are currently unconfirmed. The Assassin has been written by Harry and Jack Williams, who are best known for The Missing and Baptiste.
"Set against the idyllic backdrop of a remote Greek island, retired assassin Julie and her estranged son Edward are forced to work together in a fight for survival," reads the logline, which also teases Julie's "dangerous" past.

"I feel so lucky to have spent the summer in Athens with the wonderful Freddie Highmore and surrounded by a cast and crew of such high calibre," said Hawes of the project, adding that the scripts were "spectacular".
"It doesn’t get better than a Greek adventure alongside the lovely and incomparable Keeley Hawes!," said Highmore in a statement. "I’m really excited for people to glimpse some of what we’ve been up to.

Brune-Franklin, who has also starred in Our Girl and Line of Duty, had a successful 2024, with the actor having roles in Baby Reindeer and Dune: Prophecy.
The Assassin will premiere on Prime Video in July.
