Audible is set to release a retelling of British period drama Pride and Prejudice with a stacked cast of voice actors.

Jane Austen's 1813 novel follows the story of the budding romance between Elizabeth Bennet and the wealthy Mr Darcy set in 19th-century England.

It has been adapted for film and television numerous times, including the 2005 big-screen hit starring Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen.

A new Audible Original adaptation titled Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice is on its way, with Back to Black's Marisa Abela voicing Elizabeth Bennet, and Babygirl's Harris Dickinson as Mr Darcy.
