The Traitors star Amanda Lovett has admitted that a surprise reunion with her ex-husband Justin "wasn’t plain sailing".
The TV icon rose to fame after appearing on the first UK series of The Traitors back in 2022, where she was secretly chosen to be a Traitor by host Claudia Winkleman.
Speaking to Siobhan Wykes on Best Magazine's Suddenly Single podcast, Amanda revealed how she was reunited with her current partner, who also happens to be her first husband.
"It wasn't plain sailing," she said. "But he's always been there to support me, and he's always been my rock, and he cares about me. And I think we started speaking about what went wrong in the first place. And he actually listened. And I listened to him."
Opening up about what won her back, Amanda said that Justin used to bring her a bag of shopping every Saturday when she was a single mum.

She said: "And, you know, when you're a single mum, that's romantic! So he won my heart back with M&S prosecco."
Describing the first time she watched herself on The Traitors, Amanda said she didn't realise she was good at lying until her family commented on it.
"My children and grandchildren were sitting with me and they said, 'Gosh, you can really lie.' I said, 'It’s not really lying, it’s keeping a secret. We all do it with Father Christmas'," she said.

On becoming a gay icon during her time on the game show, Amanda recalled the iconic line she said to her fellow Traitor Wilf Webster, who she suspected was going to betray her.
"You know, us women, we get this gut feeling. And I just said to him, 'What’s on the flag of Wales?' And he said, 'A dragon'. And I said, 'If you throw me under the bus, that's what I'll be'. So yeah, then I became a gay icon."
