Zoë Tapper, star of the beloved ITV British detective drama Grace, has given fans a "top secret" update on season six.
Based on Peter James's Roy Grace novels, the series stars John Simm as the titular DS Roy Grace, while Tapper plays his new partner Cleo Morey.
Previous seasons of the Brighton-set drama saw Roy searching for his missing wife Sandy, who he found at the end of season four, not long before she died by suicide.
Speaking to RadioTimes about season six, which was renewed by ITV before season five began airing, Tapper said the cast are yet to read a script.
"We haven't really seen all the scripts yet, it's all top secret," she said. "Perhaps they don't trust us to not tell journalists what's going to happen next in the series, so they just don't give us that information.

"But it's all really kind of gearing up now. We're in the prep stage, so we're starting to have costume fittings, and ideas are kind of being mooted around. And then we go down to Brighton in a week or so and have a first read through.
"So we'll get the scripts imminently, but yes, it's all to play for right now. We don't quite know where it's gonna go."
Season five, which is currently airing with a third episode due to drop this Sunday on ITV, started off on a sombre note for Roy and Cleo, who lost their baby.

Consisting of four feature-length episodes, the current season is based on James' 14th novel in the Roy Grace series, Dead If You Don't.
Previously speaking about season five, Tapper said: "You find out very early on that she's lost the baby, so that's the sort of first image you have of her and of them, is dealing with this really devastating loss."
All episodes of Grace are available to stream now on ITVX.
