The second season of Australian crime drama Black Snow has arrived on BBC iPlayer.
The acclaimed series debuted in Australia in early 2023 before arriving on BBC iPlayer later that summer, starring Vikings actor Travis Fimmel as a detective who reopens the case of a high school student's murder 20 years prior.
Season two of the show is now finally available for UK fans to watch on BBC iPlayer, following its premiere in its home country back in January.
The second season follows Fimmel's Detective Cormack as he investigates two seperate missing persons cases.
The synopsis continues: "One is professional, as he investigates the disappearance of Zoe Jacobs who disappeared from her own 21st birthday party in 2003.

"The other is personal, as Cormack searches desperately for his own younger brother, who went missing when they were children."
Fimmel is joined by a host of new faces in season two, including Jana McKinnon, Dan Spielman, Victoria Haralabidou, Kat Stewart, Megan Smart, and Alana Mansour.
In season one, he starred alongside Gulliver McGrath, Jemmason Power, Talijah Blackman-Corowa, Eden Cassady and Seini Willett.

Black Snow impressed critics following its release, earning it an impressive 100% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
"Come for Australia's latest must-stream crime drama, and the first of 2023, then, but stay for a show that embraces and interrogates much more than its recognisable basic setup typically indicates," Concrete Playground wrote in their review of season one.
"It could have been a disaster, but it isn’t. It’s a real breath of fresh air," said The Age, while Flicks wrote: "This is a moody, well-made crime drama that forefronts a little-explored area of Australian culture and history, and so definitely worth adding to your queue."
Black Snow seasons 1-2 are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
