The upcoming Malcolm in the Middle revival has confirmed its stars, with one major character being recast.
It was previously confirmed that Frankie Muniz, Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek were set to reprise their roles as Malcom, Hal and Lois, respectively, but now we know who's joining them.
Original cast members Christopher Masterson and Justin Berfield will be back as Malcolm’s older brothers Francis and Reese, while a new face will be playing younger brother Dewey.
Deadline reports that Caleb Ellsworth-Clark will play Dewey, taking over the role from Erik Per Sullivan. Sullivan, who first played Dewey when he was just 9 years old, retired from acting when he was 18.
Malcolm’s youngest brother, Jamie, who was a baby and toddler on the original series, will be played by Anthony Timpano.

What to Read Next
Fans will remember that the final episode of Malcolm in the Middle saw Lois hold a positive pregnancy test, so the revival will introduce us to Malcolm's youngest sibling, Kelly.
Kelly, who will be played by Vaughan Murrae, is non-binary and is described as self-sufficient, gets good grades and is already wiser than most of the family.
Malcolm’s daughter, Leah, will be played by Keeley Karsten, who previously starred in the 2022 Steven Spielberg movie The Fabelmans.
The revival will air on Disney+ and consist of four episodes and has been written by original series creator Linwood Boomer.

The revival was announced last year in an Instagram video, with Muniz saying: "I have been waiting for this moment for 18 years. Let's find out where Malcolm and his family are now.
"It's been 25 years since we premiered Malcolm in the Middle. I'm so excited that I may have peed just a little bit."
Malcolm in the Middle is streaming now on Disney+.
