The BBC has confirmed a release date for its new Agatha Christie adaptation Towards Zero alongside a teaser trailer.
The anticipated murder mystery follows a recently divorced couple called Nevile and Audrey (played by Oliver Jackson Cohen and Ella Lily Hyland) who spend the summer on the estate of his aunt Lady Tressilian (Anjelica Huston).
Nevile's new wife Kay (Mimi Keene) also arrives, creating tensions, while a murder takes place.

It's now been revealed that Towards Zero will premiere all three episodes on BBC iPlayer on Sunday, March 2 from 6am, while the show will air that evening on BBC One at 9pm and continue in the weeks afterwards.
A trailer has also dropped, teasing death as Clarke Peters' lawyer Mr Treves narrates: "Every murder has its moment of origin… when the murder is seeded, its point zero. Insult, injury, grievance, a festering ruin, drawing us unwittingly towards zero."

We get a glimpse of the main ensemble too, promising a heated environment as Kay expresses reservations about spending the summer with Nevile's ex.

Matthew Rhys's Inspector Leach further shares his disgust at everyone's behaviour, as he declares: "You people think the world is your playground."
Set in 1936, the show's synopsis reads: "With unfinished business between the former childhood sweethearts, plus the presence of Nevile’s new wife Kay, tensions are running high.
"Add to this a long-suffering lady’s companion, a mysterious gentleman’s valet, an exiled cousin with a grudge, a venerable family lawyer, an inquisitive orphan and a French con man, and soon there will be murder."

The synopsis continued: "A troubled detective must rediscover his purpose to untangle a toxic web of jealousy, deceit and dysfunction. Can he solve the crime before another victim meets their death?
"An explosive love triangle, a formidable matriarch and a house party of enemies. All compelled… Towards Zero."
The series has been adapted by NW's Rachel Bennette and is directed by Magpie's Sam Yates.
Towards Zero premieres on BBC iPlayer on Sunday, March 2 from 6am, and airs on BBC One at 9pm.
