The BBC has acquired Marble Hall Murders, an adaptation of the third and final instalment in Anthony Horowitz's best-selling book series.
It will be a follow-up to both Magpie Murders and Moonflower Murders, starring Lesley Manville who will once again return to the role of Susan Ryeland.
According to the BBC, Moonflower Murders averaged 4.9m viewers across the series – making it one of its most-watched acquired scripted series of 2024.
In response to the announcement of Marble Hall Murders, author Anthony Horowitz said: "I'm so happy to bring the team back – stars, director, producers, and crew – for a third instalment of what has been a fantastically successful TV series. I have a feeling this could be the best yet."

Joining Lesley Manville once again is Tim McMullan, who will also reprise his role as Atticus Pünd.

The BBC has released a synopsis for Marble Hall Murders, which teases what is in store for Susan this time around.
"Returning to England, she is reluctantly drawn into a new Atticus Pünd mystery, this time written by a new, young writer," it states.

"'Pünd's Last Case' is a story set in 1955, in an exotic villa in Corfu – but the identity of a real killer is hidden in the text, and once again Susan is going to find herself in grave danger."
Marble Hall Murders is due to commence filming in March, and locations include Dublin, Corfu and London. The returning team also includes Rebecca Gatward (Bad Sisters, Maternal), who will direct, and producer Suzanne McAuley (Love/Hate).
Marble Hall Murders will be coming to the BBC. Moonflower Murders and Magpie Murders are available now on BBC iPlayer.
