David Tennant has teased the revival of his podcast after a four-year period of inactivity.
The Doctor Who and Good Omens star previously hosted a podcast, titled David Tennant Does a Podcast with..., for two seasons between 2018 and 2020, with the last episode being released in October of that year.
Now, after a hiatus of over four years, it seems the podcast will return in the near future - on an unspecified date - after the show’s Spotify page was updated with the message: “Season 3 coming soon!”

Additionally, a 12-second teaser titled ‘Is This Thing Still On?’ was also uploaded, in which Tennant - whose distant voice is distorted - can be heard saying: “Hello? Hello? Is this thing still on?”
Though we don’t know when the podcast will return, fans of the show expressed their delight following the announcement, with one excited user writing on X: “Oh I've been waiting so long for this.”

“Used to enjoy David Tennant's podcast during 2019/20...” wrote a fourth fan. “Since season 2 ended, the feed has been largely silent, bar the odd promo for other 'casts, but a 12 second clip of David wondering 'Is this thing still on..?' has just appeared, which seems promising!”
Whilst Tennant is seemingly preparing for the return of his podcast, the star recently marked the 13th anniversary of his wedding to wife Georgia, with the couple uploading a selfie to their social media accounts.
Doctor Who airs on BBC One in the UK and Disney+ elsewhere. Classic episodes of Doctor Who are available on BBC iPlayer in the UK.
