David Tennant has shared his first tattoo which pays tribute to his wife Georgia.
The Doctor Who star and Staged actor tied the knot in 2011 after meeting on the Doctor Who episode The Doctor's Daughter.
The couple share five children, including Georgia's son Ty Tennant whom David adopted.
Marking Georgia's birthday, David decided to get his first tattoo dedicated to his wife, having a small 'G' inked on his wrist.

Sharing a picture alongside the actor as well as a close-up shot of the body art, tattooist Sym Kang said it was an "honour" to create the piece for the actor.

They wrote in an Instagram post: "Cat’s out the bag - it was an honour to make this special ‘G’, in the font Georgia for David Tennant’s first tattoo. A wonderful ode to @georgiatennantofficial for her birthday."
The artist said that one of the first tattoos they created was of the Bad Wolf entity that featured in Doctor Who, so this was a "full-circle moment".
They continued: "As a Queer Non-binary artist, David and Georgia’s allyship and activism for our community has been a shining light, and I’m very grateful to have curated this tattoo and look forward to continuing to make special tattoos for special people."

Georgia returned to the Doctor Who-niverse in October in the spin-off audio series The Doctor's Daughter: Saving Time.
She reprised her role as Jenny, who we were introduced to during the 2008 episode in which Georgia and David met.
Following his successful debut last year, David will return to host the EE BAFTA Film Awards in 2025.
