Doctor Who's David Tennant reunites with co-star Billie Piper

Doctor Who stars David Tennant and Billie Piper are reuniting, 15 years after their first mission together.

Billie will be joining David on the latest episode of David Tennant Does A Podcast With..., which is set to drop on Tuesday (October 20).

Announcing the news in a video, David said: "15 years ago, I met this person for the very first time and we went on a jaunt through time and space together for a couple of years.

In March Billie celebrated the 15th anniversary of Rose's debut with a watch-a-long of the episode 'Rose' alongside writer Russell T Davies.

On Instagram she then thanked Doctor Who fans for changing her life. "Love to all you fans out there," Billie wrote.

"You positively changed my life for ever and so did you @russelltdavies63 and so did you #rosetyler."

Meanwhile, David recently admitted he "felt a bit stupid" over his relationship with Doctor Who co-star (and daughter of Fifth Doctor Peter Davison) Georgia Tennant.

"I thought we were an unlikely life partnership, I suppose. There is a bit of an age gap," David said in an upcoming episode of The Gaby Roslin Podcast.

"Because Doctor Who had run through my life like a stick of rock, to end up marrying the daughter of one of the Doctors, it all felt a bit stupid... that wasn't really likely to happen. So there were a lot of things against it."

Doctor Who airs on BBC One in the UK and BBC America in the US, and will return for a festive special.
