The BBC has shared some first-look stills from new Bradford-based detective series Virdee.

The six-part series stars Rebel Moon's Staz Nair as Detective Harry Virdee, who is shunned by his Sikh family after marrying Saima, a Muslim woman.

When a young dealer is murdered following the breakout of a turf war in Bradford, Harry's duty to uphold the law clashes with his ties to members of the gangs.
