Paul wants to talk things through with Terese, but she's angry with him for going against her wishes and she refuses to be in the same building as Chelsea. Paul is disappointed when he finds Terese and Nell moving things back into the Willis house.
Paul continues his steadfast support for Chelsea by offering to invest in her perfume business – confident this will get her back on her feet. Krista, Leo and Terese are all in agreement that Paul's ongoing attachment to Thomas isn't healthy.
When Terese finds out about the investment offer, Paul insists that it's just a way to get Chelsea out of their lives. Terese is unconvinced and gives him a final ultimatum – he must choose between her and Thomas.
