Remi is thrown when Cara suggests that she'd like to adopt Thomas, while Paul continues to worry that he won't have access to the child. Everyone faces another shock when Chelsea returns, admitting that she couldn't be without Thomas after all.
Cara clashes with Chelsea and soon struggles with the idea of letting Thomas go. Remi urges Chelsea to consider Cara and Paul's feelings before making any decisions.
Paul defies Terese's wishes by offering Chelsea a room at Lassiters. He asks Chelsea to keep Terese in the dark about how he already knew he wasn't Thomas's dad. Following a tip-off from Krista, a shocked Terese finds out that Chelsea is at Lassiters. Now at breaking point, Terese informs Paul that she'll be moving back to Ramsay Street with Nell.

When she finds out that Byron and Nicolette are planning to contest the will, Sadie breaks up with Byron. Byron tries to change Sadie's mind but she insists that the differences between them are too great.
Elsewhere, Dr Anthony Halsworth turns up after being called by Karl. As Anthony is now aware of Darcy's health centre, he demands a 50% stake in it, as payment for Darcy ruining his career.
Karl is surprised to learn that Dr Halsworth is in town. He confides in Paul about how something isn't right with Darcy, but he can't work out what it is. Paul advises keeping Darcy on side, as the devious doctor will slip up eventually.
Also today, Wendy tells Jane that she's found three families in Sandy Point who Andrew could be related to. One of the families made a big donation to the hospital where Andrew was born, just three days after his birth. Wendy is preparing to reach out, but Jane questions whether it's a good idea when so much else is going on at the moment.
