Terese reluctantly assures a troubled Susan that even though she feels the pull of Paul's affection, she isn't going to go there. However, when she runs into him after a particularly heart-rending phone call with homesick Nell and he offers her a hug, she almost breaks her resolution.
The emotional turmoil is taking its toll on her and the temptation to turn to drink as a coping mechanism is very strong. A bottle of wine left as a gift at Eirini Rising has her sorely tempted. She is holding strong until she discovers that Susan has accidentally let slip to Paul that Terese may not be entirely indifferent to him.
Anxious where this could lead, she takes the bottle of wine home. It's too much and she needs a drink to get through this. Terese is sadly off the wagon.

Remi tries to be open to the idea, but it's clear she's hesitant, and Cara assures that she's already made her peace with it not happening.
Also today, when Felix discovers Holly has thrown his self-help book away, he finds a sneaky way to get it back to her. Holly remains resistant to his advice, until she's startled by Susan and accidentally swings round and hurts her beloved step-mum. Holly is finally forced to face she has a problem, and opens Felix's book.
