Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours star Georgie Stone has revealed why she isn’t a fan of the soap’s opening titles.

The star, who exited the soap earlier this week as Mackenzie Hargreaves, reflected on the show’s new credits following its revival on Amazon Freevee last year, which featured Georgie’s character walking on the beach with friends.

Fans had playfully poked fun at Mack’s apparent struggles to walk in her shot.

Georgie said in a new interview with Hospital Radio Reading that she found the experience of filming “awful”, quipping that the boys had an easier day of work on set.

“There was like broken cutlery, broken glass, and the boys got to just sit down and just have fun,” she recalled. “And the girls and I, we had to walk back and forth like 50 times – I was on a slope, so I’m like falling, trying to look happy. My right arm is working overtime.”

“It was miserable, and cold as well,” Georgie added.

“It was awful, so whenever I look at the opening titles, I cringe. I want to throw something at the screen. It is literally the worst opening titles I have ever been a part of.”

The star went on the reveal that their “emotional levels were low” during filming, before addressing fan jokes about her walk.

“I’ve seen people on Twitter talk about it, and I’m like, ‘I know! I wish they didn’t pick that shot. I would’ve chosen anything else other than that’,” Georgie said.

The titles were recently changed following Mack and husband Haz Devkar’s exit from the soap, with the couple leaving Erinsborough for a new life in Paris following their wedding.

Neighbours releases new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays for free on Amazon Freevee and Prime Video in the UK and US. In Australia, the show airs from Mondays to Thursdays at 4pm on Channel 10, with a 6.30pm repeat screening on 10 Peach Comedy.
