Nicolette is left shaken by Isla's brush with danger. Despite Remi's quick treatment, and the burns being minor, it looks set to kick off another mighty row with Aaron and Jane. Instead, Nicolette points out that their ongoing efforts to punish her are only hurting Isla, because she was unable to get the help she needed.
Aaron and Nicolette reach a fragile truce, signing onto a new app, and a more open approach to co-parenting, in an effort to put their daughter first.
Meanwhile, when Krista works to avoid going home and having to deal with Nicolette, Leo tries to broach the subject of them moving in together, but Melanie gets in first, offering Krista her spare room. Krista readily accepts the offer, and the pair quickly fall into old habits from when they first met each other as nanny and charge.

Learning that Felix is on the job hunt, and that Karl is short-staffed at the Tram, Harold suggests one could solve the other's problems. Still overwhelmed with gratitude towards Felix after his heroics during the siege, Susan urges Karl to give the ex-prisoner a shot.
Felix himself has some reservations, but they're nothing compared to Cara's – she goes off at Karl when she gets wind of the plan. Karl reveals Felix had set a proviso that it needed to be cleared with the Varga-Murphys first.
While Felix bows out of the job, Remi shocks Cara by suggesting the idea has merit. Is a new rift about to open up in the Varga-Murphy marriage?
