Neighbours' Wendy Rodwell faces an awkward moment next week as Melanie Pearson invites herself along to a Ramsay Street party.
When Wendy organises an official welcome celebration for her brother-in-law Felix, she initially leaves Melanie off the invitation list.
Melanie found herself at the centre of scandal this week as her secret passion with her ex-husband Toadie Rebecchi was publicly exposed at the Lassiters Longest Lie-In event.
The revelation led to the breakdown of Toadie's marriage to Terese Willis, who was devastated by his betrayal.

Keen for moral support, Holly asks Melanie to come with her. Melanie points out that the Rodwells haven't invited her following the recent drama surrounding her and Toadie.
Melanie also admits that she's nervous over how the rest of the Street will treat her, since their loyalties are likely to lie with Terese.
Later, Melanie sees Wendy and asks whether she can come along to the party. Put on the spot, Wendy awkwardly agrees but it's clear that she doesn't feel comfortable with the situation.

During the party, Wendy confides in Jane Harris about how she's on Team Terese and doesn't like having Melanie there. Melanie overhears the conversation and Wendy apologises for her comments.
Afterwards, Melanie vows to stop hiding herself away as she's fed up with being treated like a "scarlet woman" – will her new unapologetic approach pay off?
