Home and Away's Tane Parata starts a fling with newcomer Amber Simmons next week – and Mackenzie Booth is not impressed.
Tane (Ethan Browne) immediately catches the eye of Amber after she arrives in Summer Bay to work as John Palmer's new carer.
The instant chemistry coincides with Tane starting work at Salt, having been offered a job by Mackenzie (Emily Weir).
During his first shift, Tane is amused when Amber (Madeleine Jevic) tries it on with him and finds her impossible to resist.

Even though Tane still hasn't completed his duties at the restaurant, he heads out with Amber and takes her back home.
The next morning, Tane pushes his luck further by arriving back at work at Salt, almost as if nothing had happened.
Mackenzie is not pleased and berates Tane for abandoning his first shift after she'd given him a chance.
Tane doesn't lose his job, but is left in no doubt that there shouldn't be a repeat incident and he should take his work more seriously.

Bella Nixon (Courtney Miller), who's dating Tane's nephew Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo), witnesses some of the tensions and can't resist quizzing Mackenzie over what's going on.
Bella is shocked to realise that Mackenzie's anger is partly caused by jealousy, as she has feelings of her own for Tane despite being in a relationship with his brother Ari (Rob Kipa-Williams).
After Bella warns Mackenzie not to mess the Parata family around, Mac tries her best to focus on her romance with Ari. But will she be able to keep Tane out of her mind?
Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 (Australia).
