Hollyoaks spoilers follow.

Hollyoaks has revealed some more details about the team-up between two of its biggest villains following tonight's episode, including who might be getting suspicious.

Tonight's episode saw Clare Devine track down on-the-run serial killer Jez Blake in the woods, and offer a sinister proposal: team up and get their revenge at Diane and Tony Hutchinson's upcoming wedding.

This week has also seen Clare get close to Peri Lomax, encouraging her to be the wedding planner for the nuptials. Tonight's episode saw that go even further, as Clare seduced Peri and got into her bed.

And that's where the new spoilers come into play for next week, as Peri's mum Leela will become suspicious of how close Peri is getting to evil Clare.

Peri brushed off Tom's concerns about Clare in tonight's episode, as he came in a bit too strong (understandably, considering his history with the villain), which allowed Clare to twist his words and make him out to be controlling. Can Leela get through to Peri?

Other spoilers for next week include Clare and Jez devising their plan to crash the wedding, while a cloud still hangs over the rest of the Blake family with Jez still on the run.

Our soap insider said: "As the 30th anniversary draws closer, it seems that this year's two biggest villains are coming together to cause chaos.

"Jez is still on the run, but Clare has discovered his whereabouts – and the pair make a very dangerous plan. Why do they want to wreck Tony and Diane's wedding, and who in the village should be scared?"

Interestingly, Clare actor Gemma Bissix teased that the unholy union of villains may not be all that harmonious.

"I think that because Jez is in a position where he's done a lot of things, he's going to become a bit vulnerable himself," she told us exclusively. "I think Jez should be very, very scared of Clare Devine!"

Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.

Selected omnibus episodes are available via Prime Video.
