Hollyoaks has revealed a new dilemma for Diane Hutchinson next week, as she receives a worrying update about Tony.
Tony was recently arrested after he confessed to killing Mercedes McQueen's son Bobby Costello in a hit-and-run (which viewers know isn't true, as Jez Blake had already killed Bobby).
Diane had tried to support Tony in order to keep their family together, but retracted her support and called off their recently-restarted relationship after learning that he had been sleeping with Mercedes.
In scenes set to air next week, Darren Osborne encourages Diane to visit Tony in prison after discovering that he really isn't coping well.

After Darren and Nancy's daughter Morgan goes missing, Misbah Maalik also encourages Diane to go and see Tony – as he'd be the first person out there looking for Morgan if he was free.
"Diane's facing a huge dilemma," says our insider. "She's still furious with Tony after rumbling his fling with Mercedes, and it feels like their planned reunion is truly off the cards now.
"But we know she still cares deeply for her ex-husband, and with Darren and Misbah both urging her to see him in prison, will Diane put her anger aside and pay struggling Tony a visit?"

Meanwhile, Morgan's disappearance will spark a new mystery for the soap, as Darren believes Clare Devine is responsible and takes drastic action.
Frankie's boyfriend Jacob Omari also falls under suspicion, but who is really responsible, and why?
