Dillon Ray will make an alarming romantic confession on Hollyoaks as his relationship with Lucas Hay takes another twist.
The pair have been involved in a tumultuous bond over the past year, though the couple have come through every obstacle – ranging from health worries to addiction – that the various stages of life have thrown at them.
In next week's scenes, things will start looking positive for Dillon and Lucas as they settle in at the family home. Love is proving more problematic for Ste, however, following his troubles with the incarcerated Rex Gallagher.

Wanting to broaden his horizons, Ste signs up for a dating app but is stunned to discover that Dillon has an active profile there. Given that Ste is currently on the receiving end of violence from Lucas, he neglects to mention this to his son.
He does, however, confront Dillon on the matter, with the teenager explaining that he began to self-sabotage amid his latest spiral. He insists that he didn't hook up with anybody, though Ste urges him to confess the truth to Lucas.
Dillon heeds Ste's advice, though the conversation doesn't go smoothly as Lucas angrily lashes out. Later on, Dillon thanks Ste for his various bits of advice and support with his recovery from drug addiction, which saw Ste agree to become his sponsor.

Just as Dillon expresses hope regarding his future, he drops a major bombshell as he confesses that he also has romantic feelings for Ste. He immediately apologises, and admits that his emotions are conflicted.
Matters get worse later as Lucas discovers that Ste had already known about Dillon's dating profile, with his anger boiling over as he is overcome with feelings of betrayal; how will Ste react to his son's latest outburst? And what will he do regarding Dillon's feelings?
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
