Hollyoaks spoilers follow from Thursday's episode on Channel 4 streaming, which doesn't air on E4 until Friday.
Hollyoaks has aired some trouble for Rex after Warren Fox realised he's in cahoots with gangster Blue.
Tonight's (July 25) streaming episode kicked off with Mercedes McQueen ready to hand over a bag full of money to Blue, whose identity is still a secret. Mercedes agreed to do that behind Warren's back to save her family, but was caught out in the act by her partner.
"Do you wanna start talking?" Warren asked as he spotted money coming out of Mercedes' pink suitcase.

Meanwhile, Rex was blackmailing Ste Hay, threatening him to send their sex tape to his husband James Nightingale if Ste didn't help deal with Warren.

In previous scenes, Warren had been tormented by mysterious Blue and was still unaware Rex was working with the anonymous baddie.
Convinced by Mercedes, Warren tasked Rex and Ste to give the money to Blue, but later exposed Rex for his betrayal after finding out he'd lied about where he was earlier in the day.
Warren locked him in the van, setting it on fire as Ste watched on and begged him to stop. Ste's pleas did very little to stop Warren, who only left the scene when the van exploded, leaving Rex for dead.

After the blast, Warren lied to Mercedes about giving the cash to Blue, letting her believe he'd put an end to the family's problems.
In the final moments, it was revealed Rex survived the explosion. In a conversation with Blue, Rex asked him to take Warren down.
Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4 each weekday at 7.30pm. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.
