The newly married couple have been going through a traumatic time lately, with Leela tragically losing Noah during the 27th week of her pregnancy term.
The couple's relationship has come under strain ever since despite their attempts to support each other, with next week's scenes depicting Noah's funeral.

The scenes begin with Joel acting distant until his emotions get the better of him during the service, when he ends up supporting Leela instead of reading out his prepared speech.
He later gets a word of advice from his father Warren, who earlier this year grieved the loss of his daughter, Ella, following her death in a car crash.
Later in the week, Leela discovers Joel's journal, which he has used to convey some of his feelings of hurt, anger and guilt regarding the situation.
The pair get a request from Norma, who gives the couple a rose bush to plant in honour of Noah. She also gives Leela a note, imploring her to look after Joel whilst she's away in Tuscany.

Leela continues to worry about Joel, and with good reason as he wanders off just as she attempts to plant the tree. She subsequently postpones the planting, with Abe covering for Joel regarding his whereabouts - what exactly is he hiding from Leela?
Whilst Joel and Leela's relationship is teetering, Abe and Cleo have made changes to their situation following his recent domestic abuse.
He eventually convinced her that they should live together, though John Paul certainly wasn't too keen on the idea as he urged Cleo to be vigilant.
After throwing a moving-in party at the flat, Cleo suggests that her relationship with Abe should be more open, but confides to Kitty that she is already regretting the situation…
