Former Hollyoaks star Kelly Condron has revealed that she was asked to 'return' to the show in a new role, despite leaving her role as Zara Morgan earlier this year.
Sharing the update on Instagram, Condron explained that she had recently received a job asking her to create a voice over to be used in a promo for the E4 soap – but was unsure whether or not the woman who booked her knew she used to be part of the cast.
Detailing the job in a video clip captioned: "When my acting job and voice over job collide..." she shared the dilemma with her followers.
"Ok so I'm about to do a voice over for a promo for Hollyoaks," she began. "And I don't know if they know that I used to be in it and I don't know if to say because they might not book me to do the voice over."

Fortunately for Condron, she didn't need to worry about revealing her Hollyoaks past as the agent already knew. "She knew I was in it," she later revealed, after sharing a clip of her completed voice over.

Condron wasn't the only one amused by her unexpected 'return' to the soap, with her followers also finding the tale hilarious. "Full circle mate," one person wrote, while former co-star Tamara Wall simply added: "I miss you!"

Condron originally joined the cast of Hollyoaks back in 1999, playing the role of Zara until 2005.
She would later reprise her role in 2021 for a two-year stint, exiting in June alongside co-star Jacob Roberts (Damon Kinsella) after her character was involved in a botched bank heist with Cindy Cunningham and Grace Black.
Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4 each weekday at 7.30pm. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.
