Hollyoaks' Sienna fears for her secret as Warren undergoes surgery

Hollyoaks' Sienna Blake was left fearing the worst tonight, as Warren Fox went into surgery for his life-saving liver transplant, with his mother Norma Crow as the donor.

Initially it had been thought that Norma wasn't a match for her son but it turned out Grace Black had bribed the doctor to change the results.

Warren's ex Sienna knew that Norma was a match but had thought about not saying anything and letting Warren die. But eventually Sienna had a change of heart and told Norma what Grace had done and she agreed to the surgery to save her son's life.

But as the time for the surgery approached, Norma was nowhere to be found and the clock was running out. With Warren's life hanging in the balance, on tonight's episode (January 17) Misbah caught Norma as she was fleeing the hospital and invited her for a chat.

Norma admitted she was scared for the surgery and what it would mean for her life and health but Misbah managed to convince her to do the right thing and help her son.

With the surgery about to be cancelled, Norma appeared, apologising to Warren and saying she just needed some time to think things over.

But once his mum was gone, Warren chillingly said that everyone, including Norma and Grace, would pay for what they'd done.

Meanwhile, as Norma was preparing for the surgery, Sienna paid her a visit to try and ensure she would keep her secret. She told Norma that Warren had been a "nightmare" for her and her kids and that's why she nearly didn't say anything.

But Norma didn't seem convinced by Sienna's pleas, telling her: "I need to look out for my son," as she was wheeled into surgery.

Meanwhile, Hollyoaks executive producer Lucy Allan recently teased that Sienna and Ethan's romance will be rocked later this year by a new arrival.

Speaking to Digital Spy, Allan said: "Who doesn't love Sienna and Ethan? But we can't give everybody a happy ever after as no one really believes in them! We would love to find a happy ever after this year but not with Sienna and Ethan.

"We have an exciting new character coming into the show who will throw a bomb between that couple."
