Burnett left the soap after a dramatic Christmas storyline that featured the return of Hunter. Speaking ahead of that storyline, which featured Olivia sleeping with Hunter, the brother of her then-fiancé Prince, Burnett said the episode was a big shoot.
"Filming-wise, it was a big shoot, we all put a lot of time and effort into it… I am looking forward to the audience seeing all the dramatic twists and turns that the writers have in store."
Hollyoaks streams first on All 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.
