Hollyoaks star Jessamy Stoddart has addressed Liberty Savage's (temporary) exit.
Scenes that aired this week on the Channel 4 soap saw Liberty jet off to New Zealand to start a new job, with the real-life reason for the departure being that Stoddart has gone on maternity leave.
The actress shared some photos of herself around the set showing off her baby bump, writing: "Byeeeeeeeee. Lib is off to do her dream job in NZ so that I can live out my dreams right here.
"TTFN @hollyoaksofficial I’ll miss you but I’ll see you next year."

Stoddart's fellow cast member Jacob Roberts has called for Damon to get some new friends in Liberty's absence.
"Rory [Douglas-Speed, who plays Joel] is a good laugh. I'd like to work with him more," he explained. "Joel could even make a good replacement for Brody. Sienna and Damon have a lot of history as well, although they're always arguing. I really want to work with someone totally who no-one would expect!"
