Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Hollyoaks has revealed who was behind leaking Ella Richardson's private photos online.
In tonight's (September 7) episode, Ella was left horrified and unable to attend school after learning that someone had leaked private photos of her via a fake account.
Feeling bad about not being able to support her niece, Cindy confronted Charlie in the school, believing him to be the culprit.
Charlie, however, claimed he didn't create the fake account or post the photos online – despite him being the only person to receive the images.

But Cindy refused to believe him and demanded to see his phone. "See, if he's really so innocent he wouldn't mind me checking his phone," she said, leading Charlie to reveal that he actually lost his phone the day before.
Back in the village, Charlie turned to Eric for help and revealed everything that has happened with him and Ella. He then asked Eric to shut down the fake account.
But Eric ignored Charlie's plea for help and tried to put the blame onto Ella. "She's the one who took those photos of herself in the first place isn't she? Whether Ella posted those photos or not the only person to blame is her, she deserves everything she gets," he said.
Meanwhile, Cindy stepped up her attempts to support Ella, urging the teenager to forget Charlie and move in with her.

A flashback then revealed Mason is the one behind the photo leak, as he was seen stealing Charlie's phone to get access to the images.
Feeling guilty, Mason logged onto Eric's anonymous forum to ask if he went too far with his actions, only to be greeted with support from other users.
"Girls like that know what they're doing, she deserved to be punished," a message from Eric read, who is seen watching Mason at his laptop from afar.
Later, Nancy witnessed a distraught Charlie leaving a voicemail for Ella, pleading with her to believe that he wasn't behind the leak and that he still loves her.
After seeing him visibly upset, Nancy vowed to find out who's really responsible for the leak – but will they be able to trace the phone back to Mason?
