Hollyoaks star Glynis Barber has promised a big surprise involving her character Norma Crow.
Norma – better known as the fearsome Undertaker – made her first appearance on the Channel 4 soap in April, posing a dangerous threat to popular characters like Ste Hay, Sienna Blake and Warren Fox.
In an exclusive new interview with Inside Soap, Glynis has now teased a secret hidden agenda which lies behind Norma's interest in the village.
Glynis explained: "Everyone is wondering why she came to the village, and the real reason will come out in September during the big stunt episodes.

"It will change how viewers see her. I can't say any more, but there are huge scenes that we filmed on a very exciting location and people will be thinking: 'Oh my God – but what now?'"
Hollyoaks bosses have previously revealed that this year's autumn stunt will centre around a carnival in the village.
Digital Spy has also exclusively shared plans for an hour-long episode to air as part of the stunt week.
Asked whether Norma has a heart, Glynis replied: "Yes, but it's covered in Teflon and very hard to get to. To survive as a woman running a gangster empire for this long, the moment she shows any weakness she will be killed.

"Norma cannot be sentimental and a heart is an indulgence, a luxury she just can't afford."
Glynis and several of her Hollyoaks co-stars have exclusive photoshoots and interviews in this week's Inside Soap to celebrate their nominations at the Inside Soap Awards 2022.
After the Undertaker's ruthless behaviour in recent months, Glynis is in the running for Best Villain at the ceremony.
