Mercedes McQueen will consider taking drastic action against arch-enemy Silas Blissett in Hollyoaks.
The soap's end-of-summer trailer confirmed that infamous serial killer Silas is headed back to the village, after playing a cat-and-mouse game with his grandson Bobby for years now.
In scenes airing the week of Monday, September 5, Mercedes is chilled by the news that Silas is ready to strike against her once again.

After Grace Black turns down a call for help, Mercy considers doing something so dangerous that the McQueen family may never be the same again — take out Silas for good.

However, Mercedes's plot is derailed when she seemingly finds Bobby acting suspicious, yet it is eventually revealed the boy was trying to protect the McQueens.
Mercedes presses on with her plan to kill Silas after she finds out he's been arrested. As Mercedes tries to strike while Silas is being transferred to a police van, she realises it's an imposter in custody!
With Silas now on the loose again, Mercedes desperately begs Grace to sort her some fake IDs so she can go on the run with Bobby.
