Hollyoaks spoilers follow.

Hollyoaks star Anna Passey has spoken to Digital Spy about Warren Fox's fate after the show's recent shock cliffhangers.

The actress's character Sienna Blake currently believes that Warren is dead after Damon Kinsella interrupted their showdown at the garage and hit Warren over the head with a wrench.

Monday's E4 episode (July 11) saw Sienna and Damon team up to cover their tracks by disposing of Warren's body.

The unlikely partners-in-crime were left to contemplate their guilt, but a mystery figure was watching from the shadows and soon rescued a very-much-alive Warren from a dumpster.

Speaking to Digital Spy about the latest twist, Anna explained: "When I read the script and Sienna said that Warren was dead, I thought: 'Oh my gosh! I can't believe this is how Warren would go – at the fumbling hand of Damon!'

"When I read a few pages later that Warren gets fished back out of the dumpster, I was so relieved and I think the audience will be too.

"I think if anybody was going to kill Warren Fox, surely it's got to be Sienna? It was a massive relief that he wasn't dead. And also, Warren Fox has got so many lives, hasn't he?

"But I really believed it in the moment. The script really sold it to me. It wasn't one of those moments where I thought: 'Nah, he's not going to be dead.'

"Because we'd already had the comeback moment before, when we thought Warren was on his last legs with the poison and he got his last burst of energy."

Asked how worried Sienna and Damon should be over Warren's survival, Anna laughed: "Absolutely terrified! You don't get to do in Warren Fox, have him not be dead and then get away with it scot-free.

"I think there's definitely going to be repercussions when and if he resurfaces. I think there's a lot of dread for that happening."

Anna also admitted that Sienna isn't feeling much guilt about Warren's presumed fate.

She said: "I was surprised at how cold she is about it. I thought there would be more instant remorse. She did stop to say a few words at the dumpster, but it was really only because Damon made her!

"She's so furious with Warren. She's really cut-throat and savage, and she believes the kids are better off without Warren. It's pretty cold and it's pretty brutal, but I think he deserves it!"

Hollyoaks now streams first on All 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.
