Hollyoaks is lining up a difficult new dilemma for Darren Osborne as Luke Morgan vows to be part of baby DJ's life.

Luke (Gary Lucy) finally discovered that he is the biological father Mandy's son in last week's dramatic episodes, after months of being kept in the dark.

Up until this point, Darren had believed that he had fathered Mandy's son, thanks to some interference from Luke's teenage son Ollie.

In the wake of his Luke's life-changing discovery, both Sienna and Liberty urge him to clean up his act if he wants to be a proper dad to DJ.

Taking their advice on board, Luke later asks Mandy and Darren if he can spend more time with his son.

When Mandy agrees, Luke excitedly prepares to spend the day with DJ, leaving Darren forced to hide his hurt and anger as he watches them together.

Viewers have just seen Darren betray his current partner Mandy (Sarah Jayne Dunn) by sleeping with his ex-wife. They gave in to temptation while trapped in tunnels that run underneath the village.

Show bosses have announced plans to explore a "very serious" depression storyline with Darren in the coming months, with the first seeds planted in last week's episodes.

Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
