Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale has seen Charity Dingle coming clean to her husband Mack Boyd about baby Leyla's parentage and her ordeal with Dr Todd, as a hurt Mack advised her to go to the police.
Charity has been struggling after being blackmailed and sexually assaulted by Todd, who knows the truth about Leyla being Charity and Ross Barton's. After a fateful encounter with kind stranger Serena (who has a closer connection to Charity's than either of them realised), the Woolpack landlady realised that she would have to be honest not just with Mack, but also with Sarah and Jacob, who believe that Leyla is theirs.
In tonight's hour-long episode, Charity started making amends by telling it all to Mack, who listened in anger as his wife explained she had sex with his friend Ross.
"It was just a stupid, drunken mistake, a one-off... and I've regretted it ever since," Charity insisted.
"And it didn't mean anything."

Charity then told Mack that her sleeping with Ross wasn't just about them, but involved Sarah and Jacob too. Mack quickly put two and two together as he shook his head in disbelief.
"You knew you were carrying Ross's baby? And you palmed it off as Sarah's? What kind of monster are you?!" Mack yelled at Charity, who said she couldn't take the joy of being a mum away from Sarah.
"You have broken my heart. And now you're gonna break Sarah's heart. And on top of all of that, you have put an innocent child in the middle of it," Mack said.
As Charity couldn't muster the courage to talk to Sarah, she asked Mack to go on her behalf. He initially accepted but didn't have the heart to go through with it.
When Mack returned home, he told Charity that he knew something had been off with her and asked her to be completely transparent.
Charity broke down, telling Mack about being raped by Todd and how the police said they couldn't progress with the case due to a lack of evidence.
Mack was devastated, but encouraged his wife to hold off telling Sarah and Jacob for now but go talk to the police so Todd could be brought to justice.
"I can be angry with you and still be there for you when you need me most," Mack said.
"Dr Todd is not karma," he added when Charity pointed out she was not a "good person".
"She's a rapist who took advantage of you when you were vulnerable," Mack continued, as he urged Charity to tell the police "absolutely everything".
In spoilers for next week, it seems that Charity takes Mack's advice and goes to the authorities, ready to take Todd down.
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 8pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
