Emmerdale's Mackenzie Boyd will phone the police next week as he grows increasingly concerned for his wife Charity Dingle's safety after she goes missing.

Viewers know that Charity was sexually assaulted earlier this month by Dr Todd who has also been blackmailing her over the parentage of Leyla, Jacob and Sarah's baby.
Charity reported the assault by Todd to the police which led to the arrest of the doctor but a lack of physical evidence meant she was soon released without charge.
So far Charity has kept her horrific ordeal secret from Mack, with him believing that his wife is suffering from post-natal depression.

Next week Mack will attempt to talk to Charity but she pushes him away, unable to bring herself to tell him the truth about why she has been struggling so deeply.
Charity then drives off, leaving Mack and the rest of her family even more worried about her mental state.
In a preview clip from next week, Charity is revealed to be standing near a remote woodland lake as her phone rings and she rejects Mack's call.
Back at home, Noah and Sarah arrive back having been unsuccessful in their search for Charity.
After Mack tries to phone Charity and gets no answer he says he's going to do what he should have done hours ago and phones the police.

"Charity has reached the point where she cannot go on like this – she's completely traumatised," explained our village spy. "She drives off and finds herself at this lake where she's just frozen, looking out and clearly close to the edge of a complete breakdown.
"After everything she's been through, Charity cannot cope with the emotional toll of what's happened. She desperately needs help."
