What to Read Next

Down at the police station, Tracy stands accused of killing Nate and keeping hold of his phone to cover her tracks.

Tracy confidently answers the detectives' questions, aware that she's done nothing wrong. However, her mood soon changes when she's reminded of the secret she has been keeping for the past few weeks.

Viewers know that Tracy started using Nate's credit card to make purchases to provide for herself and their daughter Frankie. She was acting out of spite and desperation at the time, believing that Nate had cut contact and wasn't meeting his child maintenance obligations.

Of course, this now makes Tracy look very guilty as the police speculate over her potential motives for wanting Nate out of the picture.

Can Tracy talk her way out of trouble, or is she at risk of being banged up for a murder she didn't commit?

Amy Walsh, who plays Tracy, recently explained: "She's very blinkered at this stage! I think, for now, she's not really interested in finding out who killed Nate. She's more interested in proving herself to be innocent, because it's so massive that this is now being turned onto her.

"It's like already going through the worst part of your life, and then having that dropped on you as well."

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
