Emmerdale spoilers follow from Friday's episode (2 May), which is available to watch now on streaming service ITVX but hasn't yet aired on ITV1.

Emmerdale airs another twist in Nate Robinson's disappearance storyline tonight.

Just as suspicion is starting to grow over why Nate hasn't been in touch for months, his estranged wife Tracy is rocked by the arrival of a surprise visitor.

Tracy is stunned as a removals guy turns up at her home, claiming to be acting on Nate's behalf.

The man insists on taking away all of Nate's remaining belongings and says that they'll be taken to the missing farmer's new place. Tracy is baffled when she's told that Nate wants the location to be kept private.

Of course, viewers know that all of this is a lie, as Nate's body was seen hidden in a lake in February's dramatic limo crash episodes.

Nate's killer John Sugden was worried this week when Cain Dingle vowed to travel to Shetland to track down his missing son.

So, has John come up with a clever plan to cover his tracks? Fans can see the full twists and turns unfold when the episode airs on ITV1 tonight, or right now on ITVX.

Amy Walsh, who plays Tracy, recently warned that Nate's grisly fate won't stay secret forever. She said: "I love that the audience know and she doesn't, and they're just waiting for this pay-off and for Tracy to find out who's done it.

"It's been a long time coming – so long. Tracy has had all these feelings that Nate's done badly to her, and finally poor Nate gets his justice.

"It's such a journey for Tracy to take. I've just got some new scripts through and it's really juicy stuff for me."

Since Amy's comments, viewers have seen Tracy start sneakily using a new credit card that was sent to Nate through the post. Could this play a role in the truth finally coming out?

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
