Emmerdale has shared a first look and some details on the start of Gail Loman's exit storyline.
It was announced last month that Rachael Gill-Davis will be leaving the ITV soap six years after making her debut as Gail, with her final scenes set to air later in the year.
Her exit storyline will start to take shape in upcoming scenes, as a couples' game takes place at Mandy's salon.
Gail starts getting frustrated by how things go as she plays the game with Ryan – with a photo from the episode showing shocked looks on both Mandy and Paddy's faces as Ryan appears to get an answer about his girlfriend wrong.

"What should be a fun time at the salon turns sour very quickly for Gail and Ryan," our Emmerdale source shares.
"Ryan had no idea that Gail was feeling this way and it may already be too late for him to fix things between them.
"At one point the couple seemed like they were on a great path, but that's all changed now..."

Gill-Davis first appeared on Emmerdale back in 2019 as Gail was introduced as Ryan's girlfriend, before making a surprise return in 2023 for a main stint in the Dales.
Last month, The Sun reported that Gill-Davis will "amicably" depart the soap in the coming months, though claimed that the "door has been left open" for a potential return in the future.
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
