Emmerdale favourite Tony Audenshaw has confirmed his future on the soap, after an incredible 25-year run.
Audenshaw, who plays Bob Hope, was first introduced in 2000 as the love interest of Viv Windsor.
Since then, Bob has been at the centre of many high-profile storylines – his multiple marriages and divorces, infidelity, and a period of homelessness.
He has also experienced family loss several times – including Viv's death, the loss of two of his children, plus the death of his stepdaughter Donna.
Speaking about his impressive tenure on the soap, Audenshaw shared that he hadn't originally planned on becoming a permanent fixture.
"I came in for three months. Still there 25 years later!" he told The Sun. "There's something to be said for turning up on time. Learning your lines.
