Ella has come under suspicion after someone tampered with medication belonging to Liam's fiancé Chas Dingle, causing her to collapse and hit her head at The Woolpack.
As Ella was seen lurking in the pub's back room, where the pills were kept, she's the main suspect in the unresolved mystery but has repeatedly protested her innocence.
