Emmerdale airs a shocking downward spiral for April Windsor next week as she hears the truth about her dad Marlon Dingle's recent betrayals.
April is horrified when she discovers the lengths that Marlon has gone to in his efforts to keep her friend Dylan out of her life.
Viewers know that April befriended Dylan when she was living on the streets at the start of the year.
When Dylan started hanging around the village and wanted a place to stay, Marlon framed him over the theft of ketamine from the vets surgery.

When Marlon returns home, he's devastated to find his daughter unconscious with the empty drugs vial beside her.

Although April turns out to be okay, the incident sends Marlon's overprotective approach into overdrive.
He plants a tracking device in April's coat so that he can monitor her movements at all times.
