Emmerdale will air a surprise character switch as part of the show's dramatic limo crash storyline.
Liam Cavanagh and Mandy Dingle swap places in Friday's episode as 17 villagers head off for a doomed night out in two separate limos.
The ITV soap has been teasing one of its biggest ever stunt plots, focusing on a double crash which leaves several lives hanging in the balance.

Kerry Wyatt organised a girls' night after winning the use of a limo in Take A Vow's big raffle. She invited Mandy, Amy Wyatt, Tracy Metcalfe, Vanessa Woodfield, Suzy Merton, Chas Dingle, Leyla Harding and Charity Dingle to join her.

Liam then organised a second limo for the boys, asking Mackenzie Boyd, Sam Dingle, Bear Wolf, Matty Barton, Caleb Miligan, Cain Dingle and Paddy Dingle to join him.
However, in a last-minute twist in Friday's episode, Liam makes a bold move as he tries to salvage his grand plans to propose to his partner Chas in a limo.
Liam and Mandy end up swapping places, with Liam joining the girls to stay close to Chas for the evening, and Mandy reluctantly heading off with the boys instead.

The switch could prove all-important for the ongoing storyline, since one of the limos will end up stranded on an icy lake after the crash.
With the stakes so high and much-loved characters at risk as the ice starts to crack, will it be Liam or Mandy who ends up facing a horror they would have avoided without this last-minute decision?
Lisa Riley, who plays Mandy, recently teased: "My lips are sealed. I don't know a thing! Will Mandy and Paddy make it at the end? We don't know. We don't know."

Jonny McPherson, who plays Liam, added: "A twist of fate could put him in danger. I didn't anticipate my being as large a part of it. It encouraged me to really step up.
"There is going to be death and danger, injuries and it's harrowing for some of the characters."
