In Thursday's episode, April's father Marlon Dingle started gently seeking answers over the secrets that she'd been keeping from her family before she disappeared.
Although Marlon had promised not to bombard April with questions too quickly, the topic of the baby's father unsurprisingly came up.
Marlon asked: "Was he part of the reason you left? Were the two of you still in contact? Does he know?"
April replied: "He was just a random lad that I met at a party – I didn't even know his name, dad."

Meanwhile, Marlon faced another tough conversation as April started to confide in him over the reasons why she ran away from home in the first place.
April listed various challenges that she'd faced – dating much further back than being kidnapped by Jade and discovering the truth about the death of her mum Donna.
She said: "You hardly ever noticed me unless I was drunk. Leo's loads of work – it's not his fault, but he is. And then there's Ivy, and Rhona running away. She had to go to court and you two almost split up.
"And you and your stroke – you were supposed to keep calm, take it easy and I have to be the strong one because that's what I've always done."
Can a devastated Marlon get his family back on track now that April has returned?
