Emmerdale spoilers follow from Monday's episode (December 2), which is available to watch now on streaming service ITVX but hasn't yet aired on ITV1.
Emmerdale has kicked off Angelica King's involvement in the final stage of Tom's storyline.
The ITV soap recently revealed that Angelica will become Tom's final ally now that his uncle Jimmy and ex-girlfriend Amelia Spencer have turned against him.
Tom was formally charged with coercive controlling behaviour and assault last week after new evidence helped to prove his evil abuse of his wife Belle.
The villain then made matters much worse for himself by trying to flee from the country, so he's now being held on remand in prison ahead of his upcoming court appearances.

What to Read Next
In Monday's episode, Jimmy was unsettled to receive an email from the jail regarding possible visits to Tom.
Jimmy chose not to tell his wife Nicola about the unwanted correspondence, but she quickly spotted the message on their shared account.
Although Jimmy is no longer supporting Tom, he did admit to having mixed feelings over cutting him off entirely.

As Jimmy pointed out that prison isn't easy, Nicola replied: "It's not meant to be. He did the crime, let him suffer the consequences. He's dead to us and he's going to stay that way."
Angelica eavesdropped on the conversation and clearly had other ideas, secretly filling out an online form in Jimmy's name which gave permission for him to be one of Tom's official contacts.

Recent spoilers have confirmed that Tom will manipulate his teenage cousin in upcoming episodes, hoping that Angelica can convince Jimmy to get back on his side.
Angelica is feeling vulnerable after serving her time in the Secure Children's Home following her role in Heath Hope's death. As she starts to feel sorry for Tom, can Jimmy and Nicola get her back on the right track?
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
