Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale's Tom King will trash the house he shares with new wife Belle in upcoming scenes, driven by his escalating need for control over her.
The abuser has been trying to exert control over every aspect of Belle's life since their wedding night, most recently sabotaging her new job at Take A Vow, destroying her mother's urn in a fit of rage, and downloading a tracking app on his phone to keep her under constant surveillance.
In scenes airing next week, Tom's frightening behaviour will escalate further when Belle tells him that she'll be late home from work.

However, Tom is furious when his secret tracking app reveals that his wife is actually in a moving car.
When Tom calls Belle to ask where she is, Belle lies by saying she's still at work rather than having fun with her colleagues in the Hide, unaware that Tom is tracking her every move.
Unwilling to let Belle enjoy her night without him, Tom heads to the Hide to find her having the time of her life.

Given the place is packed with people, Tom does his best to stop his passive aggression showing through by pretending he’s fine with Belle continuing to socialise at the Hide with her friends.
Back at home, however, Tom completely trashes the house in a fit of rage, unable to cope with his lack of control over Belle.
