Emmerdale's Chas Dingle is set to experience some fireworks in the new year.
Chas has a hard year, which included being kidnapped by gangster Harry as he tried to get revenge on her half-brothers Cain and Caleb.
She's also had her relationship with her son Aaron strained following her affair with the late Al Chapman.

Aaron recently returned to the village and was revealed to be Cain and Caleb's hostage, with the pair taking Aaron back home after he went off the rails while grieving for sister Liv.

With all this drama, Chas is set to start 2024 with some happiness finally on the horizon.
Upcoming scenes will show Chas beginning to bond with Liam Cavanagh as they enjoy an intimate chat together in the back room of The Woolpack.
Realising they're both looking for love, the pair end up kissing. Could this be the start of a new relationship for them both?
In November, Emmerdale producer Laura Shaw teased a "huge" storyline for Chas — one that could reunite her with son Aaron.
"There's a huge story coming up for Chas in the new year that's going to be shocking for all her family and friends and villagers around her," Shaw said.

"We know that [she] and Aaron have got quite a strained relationship at the moment and Aaron's really pushing his mum away.
"This could be the story that maybe brings those two back together and bonds mother and son again. That's all for us to find out in the new year."
